From your PASSION to ours

Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate based in Londonderry, NH.

Oversee the efficient implementation of quality standards, programs and processes to improve operational efficiencies and reduce/eliminate production waste and spoilage.

Support environmental programs established within the organization to include recycling of all office wastes in accordance with program guidelines, initiate power conservation techniques by turning off lights and computers when not in use.

Proactively look for ways to support our Mission, including reducing negative impacts on the environment.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

* Responsible for all aspects of food safety and quality, as applicable and defined in plant and department procedures.

* Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, banding, and sorting

* Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department lead

* Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition

* Follow department SOP and GMP guidelines.

* Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions

* Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

* Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time.

* Involves repetitive motion.

* Requires the ability to walk frequently.

* Requires the use of hands/fingers to handle or feel is consistent.

* The ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl is seldom.

* Requires the ability to lift and/or carry weight up to 60 pounds.

* The ability to push/pull weight up to 60 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The noise level in this work environment is high.
  • Temperature is 37 - 40 degrees Fahrenheit
  • The position experiences interruptions during the day consistently.
  • The requirement to work overtime in this environment is occasional.
  • The ability to wear personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety shoes, hair nets, safety vests and bump caps.
  • Ability to work in an open and collaborative environment.

SCHEDULE

M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm
