Job Summary


We're looking for an Inventory Clerk to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will ensure accurate movement of materials, maintain inventory records, prepare shipments, and support compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 9:00a-5:00p



What You'll Be Doing



  • Receive, inspect, count, and verify inbound and outbound shipments against purchase orders, invoices, bills of lading, and other records.
  • Prepare, package, label, and process materials for domestic and international shipment.
  • Select appropriate packaging materials and assemble shipping containers, crates, and cartons.
  • Route incoming materials and products to the appropriate departments and personnel.
  • Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with shipping requirements.
  • Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records using company systems and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and packaging materials.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Move raw materials, finished goods, hazardous materials, and waste within the facility in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Utilize barcode scanners and computer systems to perform inventory transactions and data entry.
  • Support departmental housekeeping, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all quality, environmental, and safety procedures.



What We're Looking For



  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.
  • 1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or material handling experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and shipping documentation.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and receiving systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.



Nice to Have



  • Previous experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience.
  • Experience using ERP, inventory management, shipping, or receiving systems.
  • Experience handling hazardous materials and regulated shipments.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning technology and inventory control processes.
  • Knowledge of DOT, RCRA, or other shipping and environmental regulations



Work Environment & Physical Requirements



  • Manufacturing and warehouse environment with occasional exposure to moving equipment, airborne particles, and industrial materials.
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift.
  • Regular lifting of up to 25 pounds, frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated work areas.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.


The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
