Job Summary


We're looking for a Metal Worker to support the repair and manufacturing of aerospace components through material removal, surface finishing, part modification, and production processing activities. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will use a variety of tools, equipment, and measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality and customer specifications.

Shift: This role is available on our 1st shift (day shift), with typically hours of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Shift Differential: Some 1st shift schedules may include a shift differential of $1-$2 per hour, based on the assigned workdays.


Sign On Bonus: $500



What You'll Be Doing



  • Blend, finish, and modify metal components using hand tools and production equipment.
  • Remove or apply material to achieve required specifications and surface finishes.
  • Set up and operate production tools, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Mix and prepare production materials as required.
  • Follow work instructions, process specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Perform inspections using handheld measuring tools.
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Comply with quality standards, including QCM and ISO/TCS requirements.
  • Follow all health, safety, environmental, and ethical standards.
  • Support other production activities as needed.



What We're Looking For



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous metalworking, manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to use handheld measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.



Nice To Have



  • Experience in aerospace or other precision manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with grinding, blending, deburring, polishing, or metal finishing processes.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, work instructions, or manufacturing specifications.
  • Experience working within quality management systems and ISO-controlled environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.



Work Environment & Physical Requirements



  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, airborne particles, and production materials.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive use of hands and arms.
  • Regular handling of parts, tools, and production equipment throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, measuring equipment, and production machinery.
  • Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated work areas.
  • Ability to lift and move materials with or without reasonable accommodation.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.


The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
