Position Summary

The Housekeeping Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience throughout The Residences at Horseshoe Bay Resort. This hands-on position supports daily housekeeping operations, supervises team members, conducts quality inspections, and helps ensure all condominium accommodations and public spaces consistently meet resort standards.

The ideal candidate is an organized, service-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities



  • Assist with the daily operation of the housekeeping department.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and support housekeeping team members.
  • Ensure all residences, guest accommodations, and public areas meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of guest units, VIP accommodations, and public spaces.
  • Assist in scheduling staff and managing daily labor needs.
  • Monitor room status reports and respond to operational priorities.
  • Maintain inventory levels for linens, guest supplies, cleaning products, and amenities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Support payroll processing, departmental reporting, and administrative documentation.
  • Address guest requests and service recovery situations promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain grooming, appearance, and service standards throughout the department.
  • Provide hands-on support during high-occupancy periods and operational needs.


Qualifications



  • Previous housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel, resort, condominium, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lead teams while maintaining a hands-on operational presence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with hotel operations systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required.
