SCOPE The Associate Vice President, Enterprise Marketing serves as the enterprise leader responsible for enterprise-wide strategy, executive relationships, and cross-divisional integration that develops and oversees execution of integrated marketing strategies that advance March of Dimes' strategic priorities, strengthen the organization's brand, and drive awareness, engagement, advocacy, and revenue. Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & Communications, this role serves as the primary strategic marketing partner to leadership across the organization. The AVP leads the development of enterprise marketing strategies across the organization's Program Impact, Fundraising & Partnerships, and Markets portfolios, ensuring all marketing efforts are aligned with the strategic plan, audience insights, and brand positioning. The Associate Vice President translates organizational priorities into integrated marketing strategies that reach the right audiences through the appropriate channels with consistent messaging and measurable impact. The Associate Vice President leads the team of Enterprise Marketing Directors and Managers who serve as strategic marketing advisors to the organization's business units and executive leaders. This role is responsible for ensuring marketing plans are strategically aligned, operationally integrated, and successfully executed across the Marketing & Communications division. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Enterprise Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that support the organization's Strategic Plan, annual priorities, and business objectives.
- Serve as the senior strategic marketing advisor to senior leadership across all divisions, translating organizational goals into coordinated marketing plans.
- Establish annual integrated marketing priorities, ensuring alignment with audience strategy, organizational objectives, and available resources.
- Ensure marketing initiatives consistently advance brand awareness, thought leadership, constituent engagement, advocacy, and revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities to integrate campaigns and initiatives across divisions to maximize organizational impact.
Portfolio Strategy & Integrated Marketing
- Develop integrated marketing strategies that increase awareness, engagement, and influence around mission priorities.
- Partner with organizational leaders to translate strategic priorities into coordinated marketing plans.
- Ensure initiatives support thought leadership, public education, policy priorities, and mission impact.
- Coordinate execution across Creative, Content, Digital, Communications, Public Relations, and other Marketing & Communications functions.
- Monitor performance and optimize campaigns based on established KPIs.

- Establish performance measures and KPIs for integrated marketing initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance and organizational marketing outcomes.
- Lead quarterly and annual business reviews demonstrating progress toward strategic goals.
- Utilize insights and analytics to optimize future marketing investments and improve organizational effectiveness.
Audience Insights & Marketing Strategy
- Develop and maintain enterprise audience segmentation strategies across key constituent groups, including families, healthcare professionals, advocates, volunteers, donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.
- Analyze audience behaviors, market trends, engagement data, and campaign performance to identify opportunities for growth and increased impact.
- Develop audience personas and customer journey frameworks to improve targeting, personalization, and constituent experience.
- Translate audience insights into messaging frameworks, value propositions, and integrated marketing strategies that resonate with priority audiences.
- Partner with Channel Marketing, Creative, and Communications teams to ensure campaigns are audience-centered and data-informed.
- Identify emerging audience opportunities and recommend strategies that increase awareness, engagement, advocacy, and revenue.
- Establish measurement approaches that evaluate audience growth, engagement, conversion, and campaign effectiveness, using insights to continuously optimize marketing performance.
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and professional development plans for team members.
- Promote enterprise collaboration across all Marketing & Communications functions.
Budget & Operational Leadership
- Manage budgets associated with integrated marketing initiatives.
- Ensure resources are allocated to the organization's highest strategic priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, standardize processes, and scale best practices across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in integrated marketing, strategic communications, or brand management.
- Experience leading enterprise marketing strategies across complex, matrixed organizations, preferably within nonprofit, healthcare, association, or mission-driven environments.
- Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership and influencing enterprise-wide strategic decisions.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation, integrated marketing, brand strategy, content strategy, digital marketing, and marketing analytics.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional strategic planning, relationship management, communication, and organizational leadership skills.
