About the Role

Lenovo is seeking an FP&A Specialist to join the finance team supporting our growing server manufacturing operation in Whitsett, North Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a newly established manufacturing facility while partnering closely with operations, supply chain, procurement, and global finance teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, a collaborative mindset, and an interest in leveraging data, reporting, and technology to drive business performance. This role will provide financial insight and decision support for manufacturing operations while helping build scalable processes for a rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and annual planning activities.
  • Analyze manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and inventory costs to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare variance analyses and provide insights on key business drivers.
  • Maintain KPI dashboards and deliver operational and financial performance reporting.
  • Assist with CAPEX tracking, investment analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Partner with manufacturing and functional leaders to improve financial visibility and drive business performance.
  • Collaborate with global finance and business partners across different markets and locations, requiring occasional early morning or evening meetings to support international stakeholders.
  • Support automation, reporting enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives using Power BI, AI, and analytics tools

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or cost accounting functions.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query, AI-enabled analytics tools, or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Understanding of inventory accounting, procurement processes, and logistics cost analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

* Ability to work 3:2 Hybrid Schedule in Whitsett, NC (3 days in office and 2 flex).
