Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Urology, ranging from $400,986 to $438,352. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: August 17, 2026 Next review date: Friday, Sep 18, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Jun 30, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, Department of Urology, is seeking an outstanding Urologist in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series or the Clinical "X" Professor series, either at the Assistant or Associate level. We are looking for applicants with clinical expertise in pelvic floor disorders, neurogenic bladder, and lower urinary tract symptoms in both males and females. As the only academic center in Orange County, there is a robust referral pattern and high surgical volume. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in educating and teaching students, residents, and fellows in Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology through our ACGME-accredited Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship. The successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical care of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery patients and support our mission of discover, teach, and heal at our main campus and community-based or affiliate clinical sites. Candidates must have an MD, DO, or equivalent in health-related fields. Candidates must be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit, as determined by the California Medical Board.
