As a Security Officer Full Time in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help manage access at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and provide exceptional customer service. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to industrial and engineering locations by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, parking areas, business spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations in clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
