Merakey Total Health is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Practice Administration to lead the business and operational functions of our primary care practice.Working in close partnership with the Medical Director, you will oversee all practice operations, patient access, staff leadership, workflow optimization, and operational performance for our physical health clinic in the Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia. This role is ideal for a healthcare leader who is passionate about improving patient and provider experiences while driving operational excellence and sustainable growth!


What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day practice operations and administrative functions
  • Optimize workflows, patient access, and operational performance
  • Manage and develop administrative staff and front-line team members
  • Drive strategic initiatives, process improvements, and operational best practices
  • Monitor key performance indicators and support financial sustainability
  • Partner with the Medical Director to ensure operational processes effectively support high-quality patient care
  • Help lead Merakey Total Health's continued growth and integration with Merakey's other service lines

The ideal candidate for this position will have:



  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration (BHA), Business Administration (MBA), Health Administration (MPH) or a related Human Services Degree with 3+ years relevant experience, and 1+ year of leadership experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of Health Care Administration experience, and 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of physician practice and ambulatory care operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and operational management skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare finance, budgeting, and revenue cycle processes.
  • Understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements applicable to primary care practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across operational and clinical teams.
