As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and sound judgment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to utility personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
