Job Description




As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Prevention in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and report concerns promptly. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and media personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain accurate logs, and provide directions or assistance as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities in clear, timely reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
