Gulfstream Furniture Center is looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker, motivated and ready to lead the day-to-day activities of the Fab/Veneer department on Weekend Shift. The candidate must be willing and able to do the following: 1) Communicate well with other shift leads to facilitate turnovers. 2) Arrive early - up to one hour prior to shift start on Friday and Monday required for proper turnovers with other leads. 3) Have work assignments ready to pass out at shift start time to the individual techs. The lead must be able to plan ahead so work is available soon as tech starts the day and throughout the entire shift. 4) Maintain general knowledge of and be able to use Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Excel, as 90% of turnover and work-related items will be processed through this software. 5) Use Completions Digital Manufacturing (CDM) and create discrepancy items (DI). - a) Within 90 days of starting, you must obtain CD stamp authorization to facilitate CD stamp authorized inspection points in CDM. 6) Learn and use Time Hangar while becoming an authorized time approver (CBT) within 90 days of starting to ensure correct time entries and job activities for assigned employees. 7) Learn and understand Completions Intergrated Schedule Application (CISA). Prior leadership experience preferred, as well as AC furniture experience and familiarity with GAC quality systems. This position is Weekend Shift; Fri, Sat, Sun 0500-1730 & Monday 0500-0900, with additional shift "differential pay". Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years Previous aircraft experience in specific discipline of the position (i.e., 5 years previous aircraft upholstery experience for the Compls Work Planner for the Trim Shop).
Position Purpose:
Under minimal supervision, leads the day to day activities of a Completions shop. Plans and schedules work loads, ensuring manpower and material come together supporting workflow targets. Assists service center in the spirit of the one team concept. Supports Gulfstream management in all of company goals and policies. Complies with all duties and responsibilities set forth in the repair station inspection manual and the standard operating procedures manual. Job Description
