Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. ABOUT US The Implementation Intelligence Lab, led by Dr. Faraz Ahmad, develops, validates, and implements novel AI-enabled and digital health tools to improve health care delivery and advance scientific discovery. We are particularly interested in translating advances in AI into real-world clinical workflows, health system operations, and research infrastructure. JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (I.AIM) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time Clinical Research Associate to manage and contribute to a research portfolio in the areas of artificial intelligence and cardiovascular disease, with a particular focus on development and implementation of digital health tools to address health care delivery problems and support research infrastructure. This role will involve operational and scientific contributions to the Implementation Intelligence Lab, partnering with the Northwestern Medicine Information Services team to develop and embed AI tools into clinical care, validating third-party tools for regulatory approval, and partnering with Feinberg School of Medicine stakeholders and NUCATS (Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute) to build infrastructure for scalable AI research and deployment. The Clinical Research Associate will work primarily with Dr. Ahmad, a physician-scientist and the Associate Director of the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute Center for AI. In addition to working with I.AIM and the Center for AI, the position will involve working closely and collaborating with other partners across Northwestern University and Northwestern Medicine, such as Northwestern Medicine Information Services, NM Ventures, NUCATS (Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute), and central offices at Northwestern University.
