Laboratory Operations Technician Your Tasks
As a Laboratory Operations Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our testing laboratory. You will help maintain an organized, efficient, and audit-ready environment while supporting engineers and technical staff with laboratory activities, equipment management, sample tracking, and operational coordination.
- Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness to support testing and certification activities.
- Coordinate the receipt, tracking, storage, movement, and return shipment of customer test samples and equipment.
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including preparing shipments, verifying documentation, and resolving logistics issues.
- Manage calibration schedules, equipment inventories, asset records, and preventative maintenance activities to ensure laboratory readiness and compliance.
- Assist with laboratory quality initiatives, audits, inspections, and compliance with applicable quality system requirements, including ISO/IEC 17025.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and consumables and coordinate purchasing and inventory replenishment activities.
- Support facility operations by identifying maintenance needs, coordinating service requests, and assisting with laboratory improvement projects.
- Provide engineering support through test setup preparation, equipment configuration, documentation, and related laboratory activities.
- Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation within internal systems.
Your Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Logistics, Quality, or a related field.
- Experience managing inventory, equipment, assets, technical documentation, or operational records.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and operational teams.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, testing, calibration, certification, or quality environment.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems and laboratory operations.
- Experience with calibration programs, asset management systems, or laboratory information management systems.
- Experience supporting shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, or test equipment.
- Experience working with ERP, inventory management, or business systems.

Work Model: Onsite Location: Alpharetta, Georgia Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $26 -$30 hourly. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target, subject to eligibility and other requirements. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parents, health plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, and generous paid time off. This role requires regular work within a laboratory environment, including standing, walking, handling equipment, and moving customer samples and test equipment throughout the workday.
