The Private Client Advisor is responsible for providing customized financial services to meet the needs of high-net-worth individuals and families. Private Client Advisors at Nicolet build strong relationships and deliver unparalleled service while matching client needs to all bank solutions including cash management, lending and investment management. Private Client Advisors are ambassadors of Nicolet through various leadership roles in the community as well as within the organization.
As a Private Client Advisor, you will:


  • Oversee team to include coaching and development, training, and reviews.
  • Provide full-service banking to high-net-worth individuals.

    • Meet with customers or prospects to proactively determine their financial needs and then outline and propose appropriate solutions using bank products and services.
    • Complete annual reviews for Private Banking clients according to policy.
    • Determine appropriate credit solutions and terms.
    • Cross-sell commercial, investment management and advanced planning.
    • Resolve client issues in a timely manner.
    • Keep up to date the customer relationship management software program with client information.


  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with other business lines of Nicolet.

    • Meet with strategic partners to determine joint call opportunities and create and maintain prospect lists.
    • Discuss client needs, problems and complaints and work towards resolutions.


  • Develop a network of relationships outside of the bank to gain new business and act as professional representation of the bank.
  • Play an active role in the community attending various events representing Nicolet.
  • Some travel required.
  • Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.



Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • Directly supervise the Private Client Associates and Specialist in accordance with Nicolet's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coaching, mentoring and development planning; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA, CWS and/or CFP preferred.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing banking experience, preferably in a private banking department including lending experience.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • PC, phone system, general office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Assertive personality, team player, strong listening skills.
  • Results-driven and customer service oriented.
  • NMLS registered.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
