In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead, manage, and coordinate workplace design projects globally.
- Develop and implement programs, standards, and initiatives that enable efficient project delivery.
- Partner with stakeholders, consultants, engineers, and contractors to deliver innovative workplace environments.
- Translate workplace insights and utilization data into actionable design strategies.
- Support the evolution of BNY's global workplace portfolio through strategic and tactical execution.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of architectural or workplace design experience across all phases of project delivery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and related tools.
- Experience developing strategic programs and initiatives within complex organizations.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing complete drawing sets through all phases of design.
- Understanding of FF&E specification, procurement, and workplace implementation.
- Experience working with consultants, engineering teams, and contractors.
- Fluency in the International Building Code.
- Ability to operate effectively from detailed design through enterprise-wide strategy.
Additional Consideration Will Be Given To Candidates Who Have:
- Experience designing workplace environments across a variety of organizations.
- Familiarity with scripting or coding languages.
- Experience working with structured data in an AEC environment.
- Experience using BIM or Revit data to drive business outcomes.
- Familiarity with the Revit API, Dynamo, or Autodesk Platform Services.
