Join a mission-critical engineering team supporting advanced U.S. Navy Surface Systems programs. As a Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing, integrating, testing, and supporting secure infrastructure hardware solutions that enable complex naval defense systems.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and configure infrastructure hardware solutions supporting U.S. Navy Surface Systems programs
  • Design, integrate, test, and troubleshoot complex hardware systems in lab environments
  • Analyze and resolve infrastructure and computing hardware issues
  • Interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, rack layouts, and technical documentation
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation supporting rigorous development processes
  • Participate in daily Agile team activities, technical discussions, and problem-solving efforts
  • Support system verification, validation, integration, and deployment activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure and reliable solutions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering, or related technical disciplines (or 6+ years with a Master's degree)
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting infrastructure hardware integration, testing, validation, and troubleshooting
  • 3+ years of experience working with systems engineering methodologies, requirements management tools, or system modeling tools
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing engineering drawings, wiring schematics, rack layouts, and technical documentation
  • 3+ years of experience supporting complex computing hardware or infrastructure systems

  • Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, technical standards, and lifecycle processes
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
