Laborer

Ingram Marine Groupis looking for a Laborerin the Ashland City, TN area. The Laborer will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all equipment, maintaining service logs, and keeping up with tools.

What you will be doing:

• Work safely and comply with all safety rules and work practices
• Maintain barge equipment
• Inspect rigging
• Sweep and shovel barges
• Operate sweeper
• Training on skidsteer

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good sense of judgment and critical thinking
• Ability to troubleshoot and determine mechanical solutions

Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• 4-5 years experience

Working Environment and Conditions:

• Outdoor/indoor working environment with exposure to loud noises, dust, and potentially hazardous materials
• Shift work may be required, including weekends or holidays, depending on the operation schedule
• Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety vests, hard hats, gloves, and steel-toeboots
