We are currently seeking a Float Bank Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you will have the opportunity to work in a professional environment while having direct contact with our valued customers. As a trusted customer adviser and product expert, you will be able to recommend products and services to provide a better banking experience for our customers.

Essential functions of the role:

Customer Service



  • Drive an experience that is personal and relevant across all touchpoints by engaging customers according to benchmark standards
  • Foster ongoing relationships that improve customer commitment
  • Respond to customer requests and issues, escalate as needed
    * Ensure customers are aware and knowledgeable of all avenues to bank with Emprise
  • Partner and develop effective relationships with branch customers, partners, and teammates
  • Ongoing education of Emprise products, services, and digital capabilities
  • Project a favorable image of the bank
  • Work at various locations to support staffing as needed


Quality and Efficiency



  • Process customer transactions and handle money accurately
  • Balance cash drawer daily
  • Mitigate customer and bank risk by ensuring compliance with internal controls, banking regulations, operational procedures, security procedures, and audit policies


Product Promotion



  • Recommend bank products to customers
  • Ongoing education of Emprise products, services, and digital capabilities
  • Seeks opportunities through customer relationships and conversations
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job



Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of previous customer service experience preferred
  • One year of previous banking experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred


Hours: (40 hours per week)

Monday - Friday: 7:30am-6:15pm (hours will vary)

Saturday: 8:30am-12:15pm (rotating)
