Are you ready to be at the forefront of strategic sourcing, driving efficiency and optimizing operations for a leading global enterprise? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to play a pivotal role in planning and executing the procurement of essential goods and services. In this position, you will directly influence cost containment, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute significantly to the overall profitability and success of vital operations. Your expertise will ensure the seamless flow of resources, supporting critical manufacturing, field operations, technology initiatives, and project management goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Strategically plan and execute the sourcing of goods and services to support various operational areas, including manufacturing, field operations, technology, and project management.

* Adhere to and implement established Category Management strategies and procurement policies.

* Generate and issue purchase orders in response to material requirements from different departments.

* Develop and manage agreements for local procurement of goods and services not covered by broader Category Management strategies.

* Initiate and manage Request for Quotations (RFQs), orchestrate competitive bidding processes, and critically evaluate supplier performance to secure optimal quality, delivery, and pricing.

* Contribute directly to cost containment efforts, enhance operational efficiency, and bolster overall procurement effectiveness.

**Must-Have Qualifications**

* An undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or a related discipline.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement or production environment.

* Strong computer proficiency, including advanced skills in Excel, effective email management, and general systems navigation.

* Demonstrated effective communication skills, both over the phone and via email.

* Proven ability to manage tasks and workload efficiently and effectively.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**

* Advanced procurement certifications (e.g., CPM).

* Familiarity with Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes.

* Experience utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including SAP.
