Overview
Salary: $20-25 Hourly 25.00/hr W2

Our client is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Temporary Supply Chain Associate to support the execution of promotional assembly and packaging operations across third-party manufacturing and logistics partners. This role plays a critical part in ensuring promotional programs are delivered on time and in full (OTIF) by managing inventory health, coordinating packaging materials, supporting vendor relationships, and maintaining operational excellence across the supply chain. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while collaborating cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Packaging, Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, and external suppliers. Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Materials Management
- Monitor inventory levels and inventory health across assigned promotional programs and distribution locations.
- Coordinate procurement and replenishment of packaging materials to support uninterrupted production.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and partner with warehouses and vendors to resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with monthly inventory reconciliations, reporting, and inventory analysis.
- Support management of short-dated, excess, and obsolete inventory.
Vendor & Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for third-party logistics providers (3PLs), contract packers, and suppliers.
- Coordinate shipment schedules, material deliveries, and production timelines.
- Support vendor onboarding, maintenance, and documentation.
- Track vendor performance and assist with issue resolution to ensure operational efficiency.
Promotional Assembly Planning
- Support the planning and execution of promotional assembly programs.
- Monitor production schedules and material availability to ensure successful project execution.
- Help ensure projects meet service level agreements (SLAs) and OTIF performance targets.
- Assist with Bill of Materials (BOM) validation and packaging component tracking.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Maintain operational reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory, production, and service performance.
- Identify supply chain risks and communicate recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, process documentation, and operational reporting.

Utilize supply chain and reporting systems including:
- SAP
- Power BI
- Microsoft Excel
- Wrike
- COSMO
- EDI
- Other internal supply chain planning and reporting tools
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Operations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Experience supporting inventory management, packaging, promotional assembly, or manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence/data visualization tools.
- Experience working with vendors, suppliers, contract manufacturers, or third-party logistics providers.
Success Measures
- Successful execution of promotional programs delivered On Time and In Full (OTIF).
- High inventory accuracy and inventory health across assigned programs.
- Timely resolution of supply chain and inventory issues.
- Strong vendor and 3PL coordination resulting in seamless production execution.
- Accurate reporting, KPI tracking, and data management.
- Continuous process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and service performance.
The target hiring compensation for this role is up to $25.00/hr.
