TITLE Assistant Director Foster Care Alumni Success (FCAS) Center JOB SUMMARY The Assistant Director of the Foster Care Alumni Success Center (FCAS) supports student success, persistence, and engagement at Texas Woman's University by coordinating programs, services, and student support initiatives for students with foster care experience and other students navigating barriers to higher education. The position directly contributes to student success by providing leadership in advising, success coaching, advocacy, resource navigation, and individualized support planning while fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and student-centered campus environment. Responsibilities include developing workshops, outreach efforts, and student success programming focused on academic achievement, life skills, wellness, leadership development, and post-graduation success, assisting the Executive Director with grant activity; assisting with reporting, assessment, and program evaluation; and collaborating with campus and community partners to connect students with resources. Work is performed under the administrative supervision of the Associate Director (or Director) for CARE, with performance evaluated based on the effectiveness of programs, service delivery, and student engagement. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures. EDUCATION Master's degree required, preferable in higher education, social work, counseling, communication or related field. EXPERIENCE At least three years of general experience in Child Welfare, Higher Education or another related field. REQUIREMENT Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.
