TITLE Success Coash JOB SUMMARY The Success Coach for the Foster Care Alumni Success (FCAS) Center promotes student retention and engagement by providing direct support services to students with foster care experience who are navigating barriers in higher education. The position provides individualized success coaching, advocacy, resource navigation, and ongoing student support while fostering a welcoming and inclusive campus environment. Responsibilities include responding to student inquiries through the FCAS hotline and other outreach channels; conducting proactive outreach and follow-up with students; assisting with workshops, programs, and events focused on academic success; maintaining student records and engagement data; assisting with program assessment and reporting; and collaborating with faculty, staff, and community partners to connect students with campus and community resources that promote persistence and graduation success. Work is performed under general supervision and performance is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in the field of Education, Social Work, Psychology Communications or related field. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 1 year of experience in academic advising, student mentoring, youth advocacy, college access programming or related activity. Experience in customer service and office administration is preferred. REQUIREMENT Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.
