| Position Summary |
The Graduate Program Administrator will be responsible for communicating with faculty, staff and graduate students in regards to policies and procedures for graduate students. This position will advise faculty, staff and graduate students as needed throughout the student's progress to complete degree requirements. In addition to email, telephone and walk-in appointments, this position will monitor degree progress for students. Responsibilities include reviewing and maintaining accurate degree audits, assisting students and advisors with interpreting DegreeWorks, and ensuring timely updates to reflect academic progress.
In addition, this position will assist with admissions processing during peak application season and assist with processing forms for graduate students including format checks of electronic theses and dissertations. This position must use discretion and independent judgment with respect to clearance of graduate degrees. This position will work with a large volume of graduate students and must be able to perform quickly and pay attention to details. |
| Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
The successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced office environment. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. The applicant must have experience with Microsoft Office systems, including Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel databases. Knowledge of DegreeWorks, Banner and Slate is desired. |

Assist with processing of forms for currently enrolled graduate students including degree objective changes, advisory committee forms, transfer of credit, comprehensive exams, admission to candidacy, exit exams, and final defense paperwork in accordance with Graduate School policies and program requirements. |
