What will you be doing?

As aFull LineAssociate Sales Representative,you will be responsible for supporting the Trauma, Reconstruction, and Extremities Sales team within an assigned territory with installations, troubleshooting and maintenance, demo inventory setup and customer in-service. Other responsibilities may include transporting customer inventory between accounts and covering surgical cases for sales reps within certain accounts.You will studytechnicalinformation and surgical procedures inourOrthopaedicsproduct portfolio specializingin solutions forinternal and external fixationto restore the function of the injured body part(s) quickly and effectively.
Theterritoryyou will supportwill manage a 24/7 call rotation within the team.
Whatwill you need to be successful?
The foundation of your success relies on your technical expertise inthe Smith and NephewOrthopaedicsportfolioas well as yourability to build positive relationships with surgeonsand hospital personnel while assisting and training them on the proper use and care of product equipment. Youwillsupport the Sales Representative togenerate revenue and meet/exceedthe territory'squota.
Self-motivated salespeoplewho can assimilate and learn a high level of technical information as it relates toTrauma, Reconstruction, and Sports MedicineOrthopaedicsurgery while supportingcustomersanddeliveringthe best solutions for our patients!
Results-driven championswho are passionate about forming relationships to increase sales revenue within the territory and impact patient outcomes!
Resourceful consultantswho will work relentlessly to become proficient inthe Smith and Nepheworthopaedicproducts. Our salespeople provide first-class technical support to ensure that product availability meets customer and patient needs.
Collaborative and dedicated teammatescommitted to partnering with all Smith+NephewSales Representatives to support a 24/7 on call schedule within the territory
What will you need?
  • Education: Bachelorsdegree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: Minimum (2) two years sales experience
  • Preferred experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic productsor as an EMS/Paramedic
  • Proven track record selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital levelpreferred.
  • Experience leading/mentoring team members
  • Travel Requirements:within designated sales territory with 2-4 overnights a month. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences
All field sales professionals that are required togain entry intohealthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role, must successfully complete our credentialling process, which often includes COVID 19 vaccine management.
