Overview
Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Records Tech in Lakewood. Salary Range: $18.00-$24.00 Responsibilities The Medical Records Tech (Oncology Chart Preparation) is responsible for ensuring complete, accurate, and timely preparation of patient charts prior to oncology visits. This role focuses on gathering, organizing, and verifying medical records, test results, and documentation to support efficient and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience with medical records, and prior Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities: -Obtains all necessary patient records as required by physician and verifies presence of consent prior to treatment or procedures.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years' experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Previous experience in a medical records' experience preferred. Knowledge of electronic health record systems. Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail and Quality Focus skills needed. Candidates will be required to show proof of being vaccinated against influenza upon commencing employment.
