RP is seeking a Program Support II to support the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Investigations Liaison and Special Operations Division (ILSOD). The USDA OIG employs approximately 600 individuals in a geographically dispersed environment with responsibilities for conducting audits and criminal investigations of USDA programs and operations. RP Professional Services provides analytical and administrative support to USDA OIG's complaint intake and investigative operations. As a Program Support II, you will conduct initial complaint assessments, research allegations, prepare written summaries and correspondence, maintain official records, and provide analytical support to investigators and management.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process allegations from multiple sources.
- Perform initial assessments of complaints to determine jurisdiction and routing.
- Analyze allegations involving fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, misconduct, and other violations.
- Research complaints using agency databases and public records.
- Maintain complete and accurate records in official electronic systems.
- Prepare written summaries, reports, and correspondence.
- Review complaint documentation for completeness.
- Prioritize complaints based on risk and urgency.
- Coordinate with investigators and other stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with reporting and quality assurance.
- Recommend process improvements.
- Provide administrative and analytical support as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of analytical, investigative, or administrative support experience.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Federal government operations and procedures.
- Ability to interpret laws, regulations, and policies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting an Office of Inspector General or law enforcement organization.
- Experience with complaint intake or case management systems.
- Active clearance or ability to obtain one.
