Job Description
StratasCorpTechnologies, a rapidly growingmidsizedgovernment contractor supporting the Department of Defense, is seeking an experiencedSr.Human ResourcesGeneralisttosupportthe company's HRfunction. With agrowingworkforce ofmore than275employeesandacross multiple U.S. states and several OCONUS locations, this role requires a seasoned HRprofessionalwho is equally comfortableexecutingstrategy and rolling up their sleeves to executeday-to-dayoperations. This individual must be a proactive,solutionsorientedprofessional with experience in government contracting, compliance, employee relations, andfullspectrumHRoperations. The ideal candidate brings both the judgment ofanstrongHR professionaland the agility of ahandsonpractitioner. Primary Responsibilities HR Operations & Compliance
- Supportall HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, compensation administration, HRIS management, and personnel recordkeeping for domestic and OCONUS employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, andcountryspecificlabor requirements.
- Maintain and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook updates; ensure alignment with FAR, DFARS, andcontractspecificHR requirements.
- ConductHR audits, internal controls, and documentationrequiredfor government contracts andsecuritysensitiveenvironments.
Benefits, Compensation & Payroll
- Manage all employeedomestic and globalbenefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and voluntary benefits.
- Lead annual benefits renewal, broker relationships, plan design evaluation, andcostcontainmentstrategies.
- Administer Workers Compensation, Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation Act (LHWCA), and Defense Base Act (DBA) programs; coordinate annual audits and claims management.
- Serve as the primary administrator for the company's 401(k) plan, including oversight of the annual 5500 audit and vendor relationships.
- Partner with Finance to support biweekly payroll processing; manage wage garnishments,courtorderedwithholdings, and payroll compliance.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Serve as the senior point of contact for all employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and coaching.
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, evaluations, and leadership development initiatives.
- Provide guidance to managers on employee engagement, retention strategies, and workforce planning.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development
- Support recruiting strategy, job classification, compensation benchmarking, and offer development.
- Administer and track all mandatorygovernmentrequiredtraining for contract compliance.
StrategicSupport
- Advisethe Director, HRon organizational design, culture, succession planning, andHRbest practices.
- Identifyopportunities for process improvement, automation, and HR modernization.
- Lead HR initiatives that support company growth, contract expansion, and workforce readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10-12years of progressive HR experience, includingsupporting asmalltomidsizedorganization.
- 3-5years of experience working for a government contractor, with strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, SCA, andcontractspecificHR compliance.
- Experience withDeltek Talent Managementand/orDeltek Costpoint.
- Demonstrated experience managing HR operations for a distributed workforce, includingOCONUS employmentandcountryspecificlabor considerations.
- 5+ years of direct experience managing employee benefit programs, including 401(k) administration and Workers Compensation/DBA/LHWCA programs.
- Proven experience conducting employee relations investigations, managing performance issues, andadvisingsenior leadership.
- Strongproficiencywith HRIS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and data reporting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities in afastpacedenvironment.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM SCP/PC, HRCISPHR or PHR certification (SPHR strongly preferred).
- Experience withselectionand implementation of HRIS systems.
- Experience supporting employees in secure or classified environments.
- Knowledge of international employment practices, particularly in regions where DoD contractors commonlyoperate.
- Experience developing HR metrics, dashboards, anddatadriven.decisionmakingtools.
- Experience with payroll platforms such as Paychexorisolved.
- Background in organizational development, change management, or leadership training programs.
This position is remote,preferablyin the Eastern Time zone. We use E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires. Theanticipatedsalary range for this role is $115,000 to $135,000 annually.Theanticipatedsalary range for this position is providedin accordance withapplicable pay transparency laws. The final starting salary will bedeterminedbased on a variety of job-related factors, including the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and work location (where applicable), as well as internal equity and market considerations.
