Responsibilities



  • Lead and supervise a team responsible for industrial cleaning, janitorial tasks, laundry services, and custodial duties within food-related environments.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sanitation procedures aligned with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring all areas meet strict hygiene standards suitable for food handling and hospitality settings.
  • Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, equipment use, and compliance requirements to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify sanitation issues, ensure adherence to protocols, and address any deficiencies promptly.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance schedules, and waste disposal processes efficiently.
  • Enforce safety regulations rigorously to prevent accidents or contamination risks while maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.


Qualifications



  • Proven experience in custodial services, industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with a focus on food service environments.
  • Supervising experience with a strong background in team management and staff supervision.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to food sanitation, industrial cleaning standards, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with janitorial practices including laundry services, commercial cleaning techniques, and hotel or hospitality housekeeping management.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple facilities.
  • Previous experience in managing sanitation operations within food production or hospitality sectors is highly desirable.
