The Ethics and Compliance Specialist (Investigations and Audit) is responsible for evaluating the company's compliance with its own policies, ethics and code of conduct, assessing organizational risks, conducting confidential investigations into alleged misconduct or policy violations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. They safeguard company assets and company culture and recommend process improvements to leadership.


Key Responsibilities



  • Case Intake & Strategy: Review incoming ethics hotline complaints and develop actionable investigation plans
  • Lead Audits and Investigations: Conduct objective, confidential investigations partnering with subject matter experts (EHS, HR, Legal, Trade Compliance, Quality, Operations) into allegations of fraud, conflicts of interest, bribery, and ethical breaches and perform internal audits relative to the company's compliance with its own policies and procedures.
  • Interviewing & Evidence: Collect, document, and analyze evidence, and conduct witness and subject interviews.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Human Resources, Legal, Internal Audit, and outside counsel when handling highly sensitive issues.


  • Risk Assessment: Analyze investigation data to identify trends, mitigate compliance risks, and recommend policy changes
  • Audit Execution: Plan and perform operational and internal audits to verify accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external laws.
  • Reporting: Draft comprehensive investigation and audit reports, outlining findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations for senior management.
  • Ethics Promotion: Provide training and awareness initiatives to uphold the company's ethical culture and compliance standards.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel 50% of the time


Qualifications



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in internal auditing, corporate investigations, or human resources compliance.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and advanced interviewing skills. Must exhibit high levels of emotional intelligence and objective judgment
  • Discretion: Must possess an impeccable level of integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive personal data

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.


The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.


If this position requires access to export-controlled technology and technical data, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations and or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, any offer of employment is contingent upon Chromalloy's determination, in its sole discretion, if any additional authorization for the employee to access such technology is required and obtainable in a manner that meets its immediate business needs prior to beginning work.
