Logistics Coordinator
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for downloading and reviewing orders from the business operating system, adjusting finished goods inventory within the business operating system, creating all documents required for the transportation of goods and contacting transportation partners to arrange pick up times.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Reserve and print orders from ERP following processes for inventory assignment to each order based on customer demands.
- Move and/or adjust finished goods inventory within the business operating system.
- Create documents such as bills of lading, and assist with airway bills, commercial invoices, USMCA, Certificate of Origin, and other export declarations with accuracy.
- Provide Safety Data Sheets, Technical Bulletins and obtain Certifications of Product as required by the customer.
- Respond to inquiries by providing accurate details on product completion, location, and inventory levels, while communicating in a professional manner.
- Estimate freight charges for Sales and Customer Service as requested.
- Maintain accurate shipping records by organizing, filing, and achieving shipping documentation in accordance with company procedures and audit requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule less than truckloads, truckloads, expedites, and parcel shipments through approved carriers to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Qualification Requirements
- Preferred education level: Two years of college or High School diploma with 1-year verifiable experience in the industry.
- One to three years' experience in a shipping facility requiring understanding of tariff rules, Safety Data Sheets, IATA, and IMDG Papers preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Import/Export hazardous material experience preferred.
- AES Filing experience preferred.
- Forklift Certification strongly preferred and Hazmat certifications (training will be provided)
- Excellent computer skills and other office machinery (fax and copier).
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Willing to work in a team environment.
- Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.
- Excellent math skills including understanding of metric measure conversions such as volume, weight, and temperature preferred.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly in a manufacturing or operational setting.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and move throughout the work area.
- Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, manipulate, and control objects, tools, or equipment.
- Required to sit, balance, stoop, and occasionally reach above shoulder level.
- Occasional operation of machinery using foot controls
- May be required to climb, balance, and reach overhead as part of job duties.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Safety shoes, safety glasses, and flame-retardant uniforms or lab coats are required in production areas.
- Respirators and ear plugs are required for specific production processes.
