Job Description

Position Summary:

The Assembler Level 3 is responsible for assembling complex components and subassemblies into finished products while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Shift:

Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components and subassemblies into completed products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Perform complex mechanical assemblies using a variety of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment.
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure they meet dimensional, visual, and quality specifications.
  • Verify product acceptance using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve minor assembly or fit-up issues while maintaining product quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
  • Handle materials and components carefully to prevent damage during the assembly process.
  • Maintain measuring equipment in good working condition and use it in a manner that prevents damage or loss of calibration.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and manufacturing standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Assist in training and mentoring lower-level assemblers as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Three or more years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and written work instructions.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds; occasionally lift up-to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity required to handle small parts and operating hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.00 to $27.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
