Job Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer is a leadership role responsible for supporting manufacturing processes and optimizing production efficiency. This position involves assisting in the design and improvement of manufacturing processing, troubleshooting complex production issues, and contributing to process optimization.This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining safe, cost effective, and lean manufacturing processes to help service our customers. This role also supports the shop by eliminating production problems and reducing defects.Related job functions include writing specifications, working with vendors on capital improvement projects, designing tooling/fixturing, analyzing data, participating in Lean initiatives, designing/implementing cell layouts, and maintainingBOM's/Routes. An individual in this role must be able to work well with operators and the toolroom, as well as other departments such as maintenance, planning, and quality. A Day In The Life
