Aquent is partnering with a leading global beauty retailer to identify a Senior Financial Analyst to join a high-impact finance team supporting strategic business initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional who enjoys partnering with business leaders, influencing key decisions, and driving financial performance through forecasting, reporting, and data-driven insights.

In this role, you'll own budgeting and forecasting activities, support monthly close, analyze financial performance, and provide meaningful recommendations that help shape business strategy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong foundation in FP&A, accounting, and financial modeling.


What You'll Do

  • Support monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and close activities, including budget-to-actual variance analysis.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned business units and expense categories.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and executive-ready analyses.
  • Identify spending trends, financial risks, and opportunities while providing actionable recommendations.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop annual budgets, long-range plans, and periodic forecasts.
  • Reconcile forecast and budget variances while ensuring reporting accuracy.
  • Develop financial models to support planning, investment decisions, and business initiatives.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
  • Build a deep understanding of business drivers to support profitability and operational performance.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes.
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional business leaders.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting retail, consumer products, or beauty organizations.
  • Knowledge of IFRS 16.
  • Experience with SAP, BPC, Anaplan, or similar financial planning systems.
  • Experience developing executive-level financial presentations and reporting.
