Government Affairs Specialist (Syracuse) Charter's State Government Affairs team is tasked with achieving the company's franchising, legislative and regulatory goals on a state and local level. We are seeking a bright, determined, and committed Government Affairs Specialist to join the team to assist in driving Charter's priorities. As a Government Affairs Specialist, you will play a vital role in coordinating and supporting strategies that support the growth of Charter's Northeast Markets at the state and local level. This position will work closely with the Northeast State Government Affairs team to support the achievement of legislative, community engagement, franchising, and regulatory goals. The position will report to the Senior Director, Government Affairs Northeast. Your focus on state government affairs initiatives and strategic planning will help drive our company's success. How You'll Make an Impact
The State Government Affairs team is responsible for educating local and state officials about Charter's policy positions and advocating for laws, regulations and ordinances that advance the company's business priorities. As a member of the state team, you will work closely with the Northeast Government Affairs team to ensure Charter's interests and the interests of Charter's customers are well represented in state and local policies. The base pay for this position generally is between $50,400.00 and $80,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
