Position Summary The primary function of the Pricing and Quote Analyst is to provide pricing solutions to GMS customers through the sales and account management channels and preset pricing levels. The pricing and quote analyst will work with various departments and analyze competitor pricing based off the market to ensure the prices for the company's goods and services. This person will be responsible for tracking projects through our tracking system with the assistance of job source generation companies and our sales team. This person will assist in maintaining pricing records in the company software systems. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of sales activity, sales and pricing Analyze market trends, consumer habits, market strategies and profitability Work with outside sales and become a liaison to coordinate sales and special job pricing Communicate and help implement pricing changes Maintain accurate records regarding projects and our win loss ratio. Produce customer quotes quickly and accurately. Track projects and keep the project information current Work with outside sales and become a liaison to coordinate sales and special job pricing. Develop effective presentations, articulating results from analyses and opportunities for growth and development Other Competencies Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers Demonstrate complex problem resolution Basic Qualifications Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred in finance, economics, business or related field Minimum of 3 years of related work experience Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite Comfortable meeting with vendors and customers Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in stationary position 70% Occasionally, will move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc. Must be able to operate basic office machinery Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Constantly working in office environment Must be able to travel when necessary for face to face customer interaction Mental Demands: Must be able to prioritize tasks Must be able to manage stress depending on tasks Must be able to multitask Must be able to receive and analyze financial information Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement This job description is subject to change at any time. The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $54,200.00 to $70,400.00 annually. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, commissions, profit-sharing programs, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
