Description and Requirements Location: Shelton, ConnecticutHybrid work scheme: 4 days at the office and 1 day at homeRole OverviewLenovo is seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Engineer (TE) to support the rapid expansion of Lenovo Value Recovery (LVR) / Lenovo Circular Recovery (LCR) operations within Manufacturing & Product Fulfillment (MFP).This role is critical to stabilizing and scaling manufacturing test environments, addressing complex system challenges, and enabling future infrastructure growth-including next-generation platforms such as GPU-based systems.The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with deep experience in manufacturing test infrastructure, capable of independently leading troubleshooting efforts, driving process improvements, and collaborating across global teams.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary Test Engineering focal point supporting MFP manufacturing operationsLead integration, deployment, and optimization of manufacturing test infrastructure and systemsTroubleshoot and resolve complex, system-level test failures across hardware, software, and network environmentsDrive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement scalable, long-term corrective actionsPartner with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and global sites) to deliver solutionsIdentify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize manual processesSupport global operations across multiple time zones, ensuring rapid issue resolution and continuityDesign and scale future-ready test frameworks to support emerging platforms (e.g., GPU, high-performance systems)Improve manufacturing turnaround time, yield, and test stabilityBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline8+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, system integration, or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Strong experience with hardware/software integration in manufacturing environmentsProven expertise in troubleshooting complex system-level issues (hardware, software, networking)Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing or production operationsDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience with server, storage, or GPU-based systems in a manufacturing/test environmentKnowledge of manufacturing test infrastructureStrong background in process automation, scripting, or tooling developmentExperience working across global teams and time zonesFamiliarity with root cause methodologies, yield improvement, and continuous improvement frameworksExcellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skillsVisa Sponsorship:This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, including Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT).
