Job Description

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $36.00 (Negotiable depending on experience)
Shift: Day or Night shift available
Schedule: 7 AM to 7 PM (Day) or 7 PM to 7 AM (Night); 12-hour shift 2/2/3 rotating schedule



The Industrial Maintenance Technician will ensure both buildings and manufacturing components are operational and meet industry standards. Job focus may include equipment overhauls, die cleaning, electrical troubleshooting, industrial water treatment, and preventive maintenance.


Most tasks will be in a climate-controlled work environment.



Responsibilities:



  • Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost and production requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Troubleshooting and calibration of facilities and manufacturing equipment
  • Industrial HVAC, Air Compressor, Chiller, and cooling tower system maintenance
  • Install new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment.
  • Rebuild equipment components.
  • Perform standard maintenance tasks to maintain facilities and grounds.
  • Prepare written and verbal reports/recommendations.
  • Assist other maintenance team members as required in support of plant goals.
  • Hands-on training with the maintenance department



Schedule:The plant is continuously in operation 24 x 7. May work varying shifts depending on the project. Emergency call-ins and overtime will be required at times.

Qualifications

Required:



  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
  • High School Diploma or GED.



Preferred:



  • Industrial Maintenance experience
  • Experience in Industrial HVAC, Air Compressor, Chiller, and Cooling Tower systems.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with external and internal resources to complete projects on time.
  • Knowledge of plastics manufacturing
