Inova Children's is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Child Neurologist to join our growing pediatric team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized children's health system and contribute to the continued expansion of comprehensive pediatric specialty care throughout Northern Virginia. This full-time position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Inova Children's Neurology is seeking to add Child Neurologists to a growing team with expertise in fetal-neonatal neurology, epilepsy, neuromuscular, headache, concussion/TBI, neuro-oncology, and hospital care. The Inova Children's Neurology team collaborates in patient care with Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, Neuroimaging, Neuro-oncology, Genetics, Psychiatry, Developmental Pediatrics, and Neuropathology.

Your role includes:

  • Outpatient pediatric neurology clinics

  • Inpatient consultative services

  • Opportunities to teach medical students and residents

  • Participation in multidisciplinary pediatric care teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.

  • Board Certification:Board eligible or board certifiedinChild Neurology.

  • Training:Completion of an ACGME Accredited Pediatric Neurology Residency Program

  • Subspecialtyexpertisein epilepsy, neuromuscularorsleepwould be appreciated but notrequiredfor this general child neurology position

  • Licensure:Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.

  • Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start

  • Payer Credentialing:Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor

  • Medical Staff Credentialing:Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership andappropriate clinicalprivileges sufficient to perform all required services
