POSITION SUMMARY: The Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) position involves providing specialized lactation services and education to patients and infants within an inpatient setting. The role is integral to the interdisciplinary patient care team, focusing on addressing complex breastfeeding issues and ensuring quality care and an exceptional experience for patients. The above is not intended to represent an exhaustive list of accountable duties and responsibilities required) JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Associate College degree or higher requried CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: IBCLC (International Board Certified Clinical Lactation Consultant) requried KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Lactation expertise, strong patient/customer service skills, ability to build strong relationships, excellent listening and communication skills, flexibility, compassionate care, team collaboration Compensation Range: $31.73- $46.15This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
