What You'll Do As a Commercial Security Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting a variety of security and low-voltage systems in commercial environments. Your Responsibilities Include: * Installing access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems * Running and terminating low-voltage cabling * Mounting cameras, card readers, panels, and field devices * Programming and testing system components * Diagnosing installation and connectivity issues * Reading blueprints, layouts, and project documentation * Coordinating work with project managers, contractors, and customers * Training end users on system functionality * Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards What You Bring Required * High School Diploma or GED * 2+ years of experience in security, low-voltage, electrical, or related technical installation work * Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities * Valid driver's license with a good driving record * Professional attitude and customer service skills Experience With Any of the Following Is a Plus * Access Control Systems * CCTV / IP Video Surveillance * Fire Alarm Systems * Intrusion Detection Systems * Structured Cabling * Commercial Construction Projects * Lift Equipment and Scissor Lifts Why Technicians Choose Us Invest in Your Future We believe great technicians deserve great opportunities.
