SPH) is seeking a Research Coordinator in the Department of Urban & Global Public Health, located in Newark, NJ Under the direction of Principal Investigator, will serve as a research coordinator on multiple
NIH-funded research projects focused on health and wellness among sexual and gender minorities, with a particular focus on research within communities of color.
Duties include:
- Coordinates and monitors the implementation of a daily survey study. This includes tracking daily responses andcoordinating with staff at community-based organizations (CBOs).
- Oversees implementation of an annual survey among Black youth communities.
- Coordinates with staff at CBOs to meet goals for recruitment and data collection.
- Conducts quantitative analyses of weekly survey distribution data.
- Analyzes participant response trends to ensure recruitment/retention milestones

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR a Master's Degree in a related field
- Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the education requirements.
- Three (3) or more years of experience, with Bachelor's Degree in similar activities in scientific researchORTwo (2) or more years of experience, with Master's Degree in similar activities in scientific research
- Project management experience
- Human subjects research experience
- Operations and applied analysis experience
- Experience with basic MS Office software
- Experience with Statistical Computing Programs (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS).
