The Manager, Consolidations and Financial Reporting isresponsible for the monthend consolidated close and internal financial reporting for Applied Industrial Technologies, a public company with revenues of $4.8 billion, with a legal entity structure of 70 entities, and a presence in seven countries. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the closing and consolidation process, accounting practices, procedures and policies utilized to perform a consolidation of financial results through a consolidations tool (e.g. BPC, Hyperion, OneSource). This includes having a good understanding of the underlying ERP and accounting systems landscape to maintain the global books of record for the Company. This role requires a strong ability to collaborate across finance and at times, other functions, lead processes to timely meet deadlines, and support and manage change coming from company initiatives or as new regulations are enacted. The incumbent will interface with and coordinate the delivery of financial results with both the CAO and the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) teams to deliver accurate, timely consolidated financial statements and related reporting. This position reports directly to the Director - Financial Reporting and Acquisition Accounting of Applied Industrial Technologies (Applied), a U.S.-based public company traded on the NYSE. The incumbent is also a key business partner to members of the senior management team and their direct reports to ensure there is sufficient understanding of consolidate financial results.
