Role Mission
The Industrial Operations Associate supports operations across both the repair shop and distribution warehouse. In the shop, this person works under the guidance of shop management to assist Mechanics, Winders, and Machinists with electro-mechanical repairs. In the warehouse, they ensure orders are picked accurately, deliveries are completed on schedule, and customers receive a professional, reliable experience at every handoff.
Key Job Responsibilities
Shop Support
  • Disassemble electro-mechanical equipment, noting parts identification, configuration, and condition.
  • Clean electro-mechanical assemblies using parts washers, steamers, and other methods as needed.
  • Assist in the rewind of various types of electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Dismantle and strip damaged or unserviceable equipment.
  • Lift, tighten, adjust, and secure heavy objects in support of repair work.
  • Observe all safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment (eye, ear, steel-toe, gloves).
  • Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
Warehouse & Delivery
  • Pick and pack outbound orders accurately; process incoming receipts.
  • Load delivery vehicles and ensure all items are properly secured for transport.
  • Drive company vehicles to deliver and pick up product at customer locations.
  • Complete and process delivery paperwork in NetSuite for all customer transactions.
  • Maintain and inspect delivery vehicle to ensure safe operating condition.
  • Assist with warehouse housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
  • Support special projects including cycle counting and vendor receipts.

Competencies
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid and clean driver's license required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in electro-mechanical equipment are strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with NetSuite a plus.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift and over-head crane experience is recommended; however, employees must be willing to train and utilize forklift daily as needed to move product.
