Description Highway Project Engineer Creighton Manning, a GAI Consultants Company Job Type: Full-time Work Arrangement: Hybrid Location: Albany, NY Pay: Albany : $44-$60/hour Design the roads, intersections, and trails that connect New York communities. Creighton Manning is growing its Highway Design Group. As a licensed Project Engineer, you'll lead highway design work and manage smaller projects from start to finish, partnering with traffic, structural, and construction inspection teams. With a strong pipeline of secured work, you can focus on engineering-not business development. What You Will Do Design roadways, trails, sidewalks, and intersections, including roundabouts and traffic signals. Check calculations and prepare construction contract documents. Coordinate with clients and multidiscipline teams, and present at project meetings. Prepare reports, estimates, and basic proposals. Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and technicians. What We Are Looking For Bachelor's in engineering (ABET/EAC accredited). Professional Engineer (PE) license. 8+ years of highway or roadway design experience. MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoTurn proficiency. Working knowledge of the NYSDOT Highway Design Manual. Active member of a professional organization. Occasional after-hours work for deadlines and meetings.
