Job Summary: The New Product Introduction (NPI), Research & Development (R&D), Outsource Purchasing Specialist will play a critical role in the procurement process for research and development projects and new products, ensuring that materials, components, and services are sourced effectively and efficiently to meet project timelines and quality standards. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, quality, and manufacturing, to support the successful launch of new products. Obtains the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. Responsible for developing, negotiating, and administering major or highly complex subcontracts, ensuring compliance on supplier cost, schedule, legal and performance criteria.
