Join Lake Ridge Bank as a Retail Loan Documentation Specialist based out of our Verona office. This role plays a key role in ensuring a seamless loan experience by preparing, reviewing, and processing a variety of retail loan documents with accuracy and efficiency. This detail-oriented professional partners closely with internal teams and clients to support everything from loan closings to modifications, while maintaining a high standard of service. Ideal candidates are organized, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision and client experience matter. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing administrative expertise with meaningful contributions to the lending process.

  • Prepare and review retail loan closing documents including HELOC's, second mortgages and consumer loans.
  • Upload retail loans from origination system to host processing system.
  • Prepare and process retail loan Modifications, Deferral Agreements, Subordinations and Satisfactions utilizing documentation software.
  • Disburse all HELOC, second mortgages and consumer loans.
  • Process and track for collateral lien perfections using EXCEL program.
  • Process eVIN transactions.
  • Process renewals and prepare documentation
  • Prepare retail files for scanning and indexing.
  • Provide quality service to internal and external clients at all times.
  • Complete all annual bank security and compliance training.
  • Adhere to Bank Security guidelines as required for this position.
  • Always maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Stay current on all compliance regulations.
  • Participate in the Retail Loan Team meeting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
  • Solid understanding of financial products and services.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively communicate with associates and clients.
  • Associate's degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or similar education and/or 2 or more years of experience preferably within a financial institution setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, along with proficient keyboarding skills.
  • Good accounting/math skills to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations.
  • Enhanced ability to and willingness to learn new programs, software, and technology.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to make good decisions and exercise independent judgement.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and work in a fast -paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow up skills and the ability to work efficiently, accurately, and independently.
  • Willingness to work toward goals and performance standards of the department including the ability to put forth extra effort necessary to make the department a successful operation: (i.e. working additional hours, attending outside educations programs, etc.)
  • Flexibility with hours in order to meet the demands of the department.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English well and speak clearly.
  • Ability to maintain confidential client or bank information.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience in retail loan processing and/or working with retail loan documents
  • Previous experience working in a lending environment, preferably in a financial institution setting
