Job Details

The engineer will work cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and commercial operations to drive product excellence and customers satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and field service (FSE) teams to ensure consistent product quality from production to field use.
  • Ensure all devices meet internal manufacturing requirements, as well as regulatory and quality standards.
  • Participate in developing, writing, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
  • Support new refurbishing and inspection processes including documentation, validation, and training of teams.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, quality, and customer support teams to address device performance issues and implement process improvements.
  • Gather and digest customer insights to refine product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Understand customer device usage to drive design-for-manufacturability improvements and optimize field performance.
  • Support issue escalation processes from field service to quality and regulatory functions.
  • Participate in delivering training programs for operators and field service engineers (FSEs)
  • Support technical onboarding and process change management for refurbishment, inspection, and conversion training.
  • Participate in projects to identify and implement cost-efficient manufacturing practices.
  • Support customers and internal resources to address issues when necessary
  • Participate in designing strategies for successful trials as well as go to market LMR and FMR activities.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Field Service roles or manufacturing operations
  • Experience with regulated medical device or electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Strong background in process troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and field issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple global teams.
  • Strong organizational skills for documentation and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Global Travel Expectations: 75-80%

Pay Transparency:

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate's location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics' employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, "flexible time off" for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks' vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.

The base salary range for this role is:


$78,400.00-$133,400.00/Annual
