This individual must possess strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and maintain consistent quality standards across all active sites.

  • Direct and validate Fluke DSX testing, OTDR testing, fiber certification, and related quality testing procedures.
  • Review construction drawings, technical specifications, elevations, and project documentation to verify installation accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify quality deficiencies, implement corrective action plans, and track issue resolution to completion.
  • Maintain QA/QC logs, punch lists, inspection reports, deficiency reports, and project quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, field leadership, General Contractors, and clients to align QA/QC activities with project milestones and deliverables.
  • Participate in project walkthroughs, milestone reviews, quality meetings, and client inspections.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to field technicians on workmanship standards, installation best practices, and quality expectations.
  • Support scheduling and allocation of QA/QC resources across multiple projects to meet operational demands.
  • Monitor and report project quality metrics, risks, trends, and corrective actions to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, site safety requirements, PPE protocols, and change-control procedures within mission-critical environments.
  • Lead safety and quality inspections and escalate concerns when necessary.

  • Minimum of 5 years of QA/QC experience within data center, telecom, low-voltage, or mission-critical construction environments.

  • Strong hands-on expertise with fiber optic splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and certification processes.
  • Proficiency with Fluke DSX testers, OTDRs, fiber scopes, power meters, and related testing equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of BICSI, TIA/EIA, NEC, and hyperscale data center quality standards.
  • Proven ability to interpret blueprints, construction drawings, technical specifications, and client standards.
  • Experience conducting QA/QC inspections, audits, punch list management, and structured documentation reporting.
  • Ability to identify deficiencies proactively and drive corrective actions to prevent rework and delays.
  • Experience working in active data centers, colocation facilities, or other mission-critical environments preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 10 certification or higher preferred.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work fully onsite across multiple project locations.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules based on project demands.
