About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Overview of the Role:

The Product Strategy Lead is part of the Chief Customer Officer team, the cross-functional engine shaping how Salesforce wins in the agentic era. The team sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer insight, pricing and packaging, field readiness, executive narrative, and go-to-market execution. We work directly with senior leaders across Product, Field, Pricing, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to frame the company's most important strategic questions and drive them to decision.

You will lead end-to-end strategy workstreams across topics such as agentic product strategy, Headless 360 / Agentforce go-to-market, customer validation, monetization, consumption pricing, competitive positioning, and field activation. The role requires someone who can move fluidly from hypothesis-driven analysis to customer conversations, from detailed synthesis to board-level narrative, and from executive debate to practical cross-functional execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-impact strategy workstreams end-to-end - frame ambiguous business problems, develop issue trees and workplans, identify the right analyses, and drive toward clear decision options and executive recommendations.

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders across Product, Field, Pricing, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success, helping translate broad priorities into actionable choices, tradeoffs, and operating plans.

  • Synthesize complex inputs into sharp points of view, including customer interviews, field feedback, competitive research, market scans, product roadmap inputs, usage data, pricing signals, and internal business performance.

  • Drive customer-backed strategy development by designing structured interview guides, stakeholder maps, focus groups, and validation plans that test product, pricing, packaging, and GTM hypotheses with the right internal and external audiences.

  • Build executive-ready deliverables including decision memos, leadership briefings, board-level decks, strategy narratives, business cases, and recommendation documents that simplify complexity without losing rigor.

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment by identifying where stakeholders diverge, surfacing tradeoffs early, building shared fact bases, and creating the forums and narratives needed to move teams from debate to decision.

  • Develop repeatable strategy assets and operating mechanisms - frameworks, templates, research approaches, customer validation playbooks, and decision processes - that raise the quality and speed of strategic work across the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, product strategy, corporate strategy, business operations, go-to-market strategy, or a related strategic role, with demonstrated ownership of complex cross-functional initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to break down complex business questions into structured analyses, hypotheses, decision trees, customer research plans, and recommendation paths.

  • Excellent executive communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience creating decision memos, strategy narratives, briefing documents, and senior leadership presentations.

  • Domain depth in B2B SaaS go-to-market strategy, with working knowledge of AI, agents, platform products, consumption models, and enterprise software buying motions.

  • Comfort working in highly ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the problem is not fully defined, the data is incomplete, and the right answer requires both structured thinking and practical judgment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, ideally MBB or equivalent, at the Consultant level or above; Project Leader / Engagement Manager experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience working on monetization, pricing, packaging, consumption models, or GTM strategy for AI, platform, developer, or usage-based products.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce's product portfolio, commercial motions, Agentforce, Headless 360, Data 360, Slack, and broader agentic strategy.

  • Experience translating technical platform capabilities into customer value propositions, seller narratives, enablement assets, ROI stories, or repeatable sales plays.

  • Experience using advanced AI tools, copilots, or agent frameworks to accelerate research, synthesis, narrative development, and stakeholder communication.
